Lamine Yamal delighted to be part of 4-1 win over Bayern Munich, boosting confidence ahead of El Clasico. Barcelona 17-year-old forward Lamine Yamal has hailed Wednesday’s 4-1 Champions League win over Bayern Munich. As crucial for the Blaugrana ahead of Saturday’s Clasico clash with Real Madrid in La Liga, according to Diario Sport. 

Yamal was not on the scoresheet in the game but the 17-year-old forward was nonetheless instrumental in the win. Assisting Rafinha’s hat-trick to make it 4-1 in the 56th minute. UFABET 

‘We really wanted to win against Bayern. It was very important to beat them 4-1 in a very important week.’ said Yamal. ‘We have done very well this season, but there are still concerns about what will happen in the Champions League. We are a great team and we have shown that. ‘

The 17-year-old forward also heaped praise on his team-mates Pedro Gonzalez Lopez, Pedri and Marc Casado, as well as Rafinha, whose hat-trick was key to the Blaugrana’s success.

‘Pedri and Cazado were key and Rafa scored his hat-trick as well. Personally? I had a great time, I think it was clear and I’m very happy.’

Yamal also said of Saturday’s El Clasico: ‘It will be a hard-fought game and we hope to win.’
